Michael Shanks in "Saving Hope"

Has one of the Stargate SG-1 or Atlantis actors gotten a role in another TV series or movie? Did you spy one of them in a guest starring role? Do you have some news about appearances at conventions? Talk about it here.

gah this is a bit late on the juicy gossip level but Michael is doing a new show called "Saving Hope" in 2 days
where he plays a Doctor, who after being in a accident goes into a coma and sort of wanders around the hospital as a ghost of sorts and he can see other ghosts/patients
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1954804/
and a trailer

Yes, I saw a commercial for that, and I was very excited. It's great to finally see Michael starring in a network TV show. Even though it's just a summer series, it will still be good exposure for him.

When I saw the previews, I was thinking about the fact that he already has experience playing someone who's not dead but can't be seen. It happened to Daniel twice, in Crystal Skull and Arthur's Mantle, although at least Sam could see him in the latter. It looks like rare individuals (and dead people) can see him in this series. Knowing Michael and his sense of humor, it wouldn't surprise me if he mentioned at his audition that he already knows how to play quazi-ghosts.
Dr. Markov: If you're implying that everything Russian-made is poor quality, actually the sub is Swiss.
Daniel: So they occasionally catch fire, but they keep perfect time? Sorry. I think I've been hanging around Jack O'Neill too much.
