Forum Rules

  • Posts are to be made in the correct forums, those that are relevant to the post's content. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting.
  • Show respect when posting comments, feedback and replies, and be courteous when giving constructive criticism. Flaming or abusing members in any way will not be tolerated. Please read the "Important: What you should and should not post in this forum " message in the Fan Fiction forums for more details on fan fiction feedback.
  • No bashing of any romantic pairing or series character is allowed. It's okay to say that you don't like a pairing or character, but insults are not permitted.
  • Members should remember that this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated. Only mild profanity (damn, hell) is allowed. Stronger and more explicit bad language and any profanity that includes the word "god" is not. This includes the content of users' signatures.
  • Members should exercise some measure of restraint in the appearance of their posts. Users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or colored text, etc. It is distracting and can be irritating to some readers to see posts using a great deal of large, boldly colored text and dozens of emoticons. Similarly, users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts. Never use all capital letters in a title or post.
  • Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. Users deliberately posting spam will be banned and their post removed.
  • Please include a spoiler notice for all Stargate movie and Atlantis Season 5 episodes.
  • The above forum rules also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings and/or the revocation of private messaging privileges.
  • Most of the forums have a topic entitled, "Important: What you can post in this forum." Please read these notices as they contain specific information on what should and should not be posted in that forum.
  • The adminstrator and moderators reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to them and not users.
